Inglés “PRESENT CONTINOUS/ FUTURE CONTINOUS/ FUTURE PERFECT”

PRESENT CONTINOUS 

FROM: Am/is /are + PRESENT PARTICPLE

Examples:

· You ate watching TV

· Are you watching TV?

· You are not watching TV. 


PRESENT CONTINUOS FORMS

USE 1 Now

Use the Present Continuos with normal verbs to express the idea that something its happening now, at this very moment. It can also be used to show that something its not happening now.

Examples:

· You are learning English now.

· You are not swimming now.

· Are you sleeping?

USE 2 Longer Actions in Progress Now

In English, now can mean: this second, today, this year, this century, and so on. Sometimes we use the Present Continuos to say that we are in progress; however, we might not be doing it at this exact second. 

Examples:

· I am studying to become a doctor.

· I am not studyng to become a dentist.

· Are you working on any specials projects at work?

USE 3 NEAR FUTURE

Sometimes, speakers use the Present Continuos to indicate that something will or will not happen in the near future.

Examples:

· I am meeting some friends after work.

· I am not going to the party tonight

· Is he visiting his parent next weekend? 


FUTURE CONTINOUS

· Future continuos has two diferents form: “will be doing” and “be doing the doing”. Unlike Simple Future forms, future continuos forms are usually interchangeables.

FORM Future continuos with “will” (will be + present participle)

Examples:

· You will be waiting for her when her plane arrives tonight.

· Will you be waiting for her when her plane arrives tonight?

· You will not be waiting for her when her plane arrives tonight.

FORM Future Continuos with “be going to” (am/is/are + going to be + present participle)

Examples:

· You are going to be waiting for her when her plane arrives tonight.

· Are you going to be waiting for her when her plane arrives tonight?

· You are not going to be waiting for her when her plane arrives tonight.

· I am going to be studying and he is going to be making dinner.

USE 4 Atmosphere in future

In English, we often use a series of parallel actions to describe atmosphere at specific point in the future.

Example:

· When I arrive at the party, everybody is going to be celebrating. Some will be dancing. Others are going to be talking. A few people will be eating pizza, and several people are going to be drinking beer. They always does the same thing.

FUTURE PERFECT

Future perfect for action that will be completed by a certain time in the future. --Whithin 20 years, they will have found a way for us to get all our news through computers.
